AGENDA
Sunday: Robin arrives, dinner at a great Southwestern restaurant, Canyon Cafe. Monday: Trip to San Antonio Zoo, dinner with Charlie at Aldino's an excellent Italian restaurant. Tuesday: Slept in, hung out, ran errands. Trank cooked. Grilled steak and chicken, sauteed asparagus, corn on the cob! Great food!! Wednesday: Long walk (at least Robin thought it was long). Ran errands, picked up KJ, dinner at La Fogata...Mexican food...had a blast...got propositioned...(see pg. 3 of the Line Book below). Thursday: Long run/walk. (KJ & Trank ran...Robin walked). Picked up Anne, had a reading of the Line Book while Trank cooked for us again. Sauteed shrimp with cheese, potatos, corn. Excellent! Friday: Shopping at & near the Riverwalk/Alamo area. Alamo tour. Riverwalk stroll. Stopped in a hotel bar for a drink, then went to Kangaroo Court for cheesecake. Got cleaned up for our birthday party with Pam at the fabulous La Fogata Restaurant! Saturday: Shorter walk, hung out, ran errands, lunch at Marie Callendar's, and shopping at the Shoemaker's Inn!! Had our birthday cake....(see video above). Ordered in Pizza and listened to Dr. Trankina's dissertation on the Y-Chromosome. Sunday: We all had to go home....but not before planning the next trip......!!
I often think, how could I have survived without these women?

The shared memories brought smiles, laughter, a few tears and, at last a sense of contentment. For slowly, from our treasured memories a kindred bond began to emerge.
That’s how it is with people sometimes. When you least expect it, a common thread— golden, at that—begins to weave together the fabric of friendship.
